OldManStarcraft mod app

Who I Am: I am Old Man Starcraft proud leader of the Family clan. I hate cheaters and hackers with a passion and i like to keep my enimes closer then my allys some times.

What I Want: I want a hack free server and to keep an eye on the other moderators (hey who says moderators are not the ones cheating some times?)

Why I Want It: I want to have a hack free server and a none cheating moderator server for the reason minecraft was made to have fun. Also to keep some moderators in check if i notice them abusing (not saying any of them have) and as you saw befor on another post i honistly dont really want it but i have been put in a possition to feel like its a good idea to get it.

Why I Should Get It: I am well trusted and known on the server. I have NEVER hacked on an online minecraft game. Alot of poeple would tell you i am a nice person but some what firm. So if i think your hacking ill only keep an eye on you but if i know your hacking YOUR GONE (unless dean lets you back in) i dont care if you call me names or say something stupid its not my problem i wont ban people for something as dumb as that. I am on like every day (if not more or something happends) and when i am greifed i think its not a big deal.

What's a way a mod can abuse.
How do you catch a PVP hacker.
He do you catch a xrayer.

1: a mod can abuse by ithor using flying in a fight or spawning items for his clan (you can ask cy and orange_dot that were on the original server with me when i was admin i was stricktly no give spawn items) and they can use their powers to benifit themselfs or their clan to make them better then the other regular player but i think if i am vsing a regular player (or even a mod) its no using moderator powers. O ya and using tp to see cords and invisibilty to spy.

2: There is a big group of PVP hacks. Extra Damage Reach Extra Jump Hover(extremly hard to notice online) Knock Back and there is many many more but some ways to chetch them is for a reach hacker keep fighting him but if he is hiting you ALOT and he is a bit far away and you have not layed a single blow its 95% chance he is reach hacking and for extra jump watch for people that hit a 2 block jump by acident they will blow their cover and well extra damage is REALLY hard to determen unless they have 1 hit kill on.

3: Xrayers have an odd pattern to get to what they want so id look for tunnels that zig zag in odd paterns or people that find high ranking ore (diamonds iron lapis redstone) but they have to find it ALOT like constantly if someone finds diamond 3 times in 5 minutes im sorry but your looking prety damn gulty but about bases they are the hardest to tell if they xrayed or not but if your in a sealed home on the bottem of the map and they declear they saw your name (i highly dought it but i will bring in another mod for his opinion)

Mods have to use invis to spy and catch hackers. Mods also can not spawn items or fly unless given creative by an admin.

on the spying thing i ment on enime clans like the anti cawks for example or the party rockers.

Old but what are the steps to finding a hacker.
Like first /vanish and tp and all that.

these are important things. we have had several mods abuse these powers even after we known them for a long time. we need to make sure you know what you are doing

Old, no one gives a crap about "enemy clans" The family is just another place to raid and a waste of time. Start being realistic.

O the steps i am sorry i miss under stood
first step is to find someone you beleave is hacking
then next you do /vanish and tp to them (as you said)
and you watch them for a bit (or a long time) and look for important details (finding only 1 type of ore that is considered rare)
after finding good enof proof of them hacking inform them about the ban apeal forum on the web site and explain what they have been acused of and finaly /kick (name)
(i beleave this is the proper order i am not 100% sure because last time i was admin on another server they did things a bit...... unfairish i dont want to get into the details of how they baned people.

I was talking about playing fair and not taking cords pick.

You use /ban not /kick once you have proof of hacking, and im pretty sure regulars get 1 warning before ban?

Dont matter to me any more thanks to picks comment earlyer he remined me why in the first place i didnt want to be mod.... so that is the end of it i am not gona accept the mod poision even if offered... I thought i would might as well try to be a moderator because dean trusts me but o well ill stick to what i know best... Being the leader of a clan.
